Stop Feeding Politicians – Support The Militia Instead

How much are we spending on political races? We work to elect people who betray everything we believe in. They serve a master we don’t recognize so something needs to change. But what? We work for Republicans or Democrats or Other and it would seem we are spinning our wheels. How much money is wasted in political races that don’t go our way? Or that do and are followed by a quick betrayal?

The Second Amendment reads:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Virginia’s Declaration of Rights,written in 1776 before the declaration of independence says:

XIII That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state; that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that, in all cases, the military should be under strict subordination to, and be governed by, the civil power.

Virginia’s Constitution codifies the existence of the Militia:

Section 13. Militia; standing armies; military subordinate to civil power.

That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.

The original Virginia militia was established in 1607 as part of the British Crown’s plan to repel foreign invasions and enforce the laws of the colony. The idea was later enshrined in the U.S. Constitution in the Second Amendment (see above). Current federal law (Chapter 13 § 311) says, “(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males…(b) The classes of the militia are;

• (1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
• (2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members
  of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
• Note: In Virginia we also see the “Virginia Defense Force” which by the fact that they are not “Trained in Arms” would not truly be the militia.

If we look at this problem we face politically as a Federal one. One where the majority of the tyranny we face is coming from Washington D.C. we can ask “What would happen if we took that money and used it to equip the ‘militia of the several states’?”

The most recent figures show that personal donations (from individual A to Candidate B) from Democrats and Republicans (by state) to federal races average $26,520,000 (yes that is millions) and it’s just PERSONAL donations and if we divide that by 40,000 (.05% of Virginia population we get $663.00) Imagine the equipment,arms,training, and resources, that would buy the local militia. If every county (95 Counties in Virginia) had 421 Well regulated and trained militiamen wouldn’t our so called “representatives” think twice before bringing out their boots of tyranny? And that is just the money going directly from individuals to candidates. That doesn’t even list all the money going to interest groups,Political Action Committees, Educational organizations, etc.

I and many others have taken an oath to Defend this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. At this time we have more enemies domestic than foreign. They are roaming the halls of congress. They are either occupying or are waiting in the wings to take over seats in the executive branch, and they are wearing black robes in halls of justice. They must be removed. But before we can do this we must kill the beast that is the false left right paradigm of our political system.

The only way to do this is to stop feeding the beast. Starve it of it’s power. WE THE PEOPLE must refuse to serve it. No easy tasks with the willing slaves that have been entranced with the siren song this beast sings to them. “A little more compromise, principles…don’t worry, it will all work out. Lucifer….yeah, but he has an ‘R’ next to his name so it’s OK.”

Every election cycle they trot out some uber-conservative to entice us into participating. On the opposite side of the spectrum we see an uber-liberal who is so bad that we look at “our guy” and are willing to vote for him even when we see the horns protruding from his head and the smell of brimstone emanating from his suit.

We tell ourselves that we are “making progress” and “look what we’ve gotten done this time” and then nothing changes. If anything it gets worse. We’ve seen an explosion of statist rhetoric and propaganda over the last 15 years. Everyone is a potential “Terrorist” and 1984 is here alive and well with the 24/7/365 surveillance apparatus of the state. If WE THE PEOPLE are the STATE how is it they get away with this? Because we consent to it. We send them money. We vote for them and say “You are my guy”. We must stop doing this. Instead we must do as the founders did and revitalize the “militia of the several states” and it must be done NOW!

What we are facing is nothing new. We are seeing a rise in tyranny. Guess what. It happens all the time. In nations all over the world. Our nation even helps it along sometimes. What is shocking to most of us is that we are just now seeing this come forth. Well, those of us that are not preoccupied with Football,American Idol, and Snookie!

Eventually you will draw a line in the sand. Lets hope it’s not when they are at your door to kill you and your family because you had the nerve to speak up or say the wrong thing on facebook. Google: Virginia Brandon Raub

Americans must rekindle the sense of individualism and stop turning over their individual sovereignty to fools. “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state…” its time to bring it back! Government is force, and it must be met with equal or greater force. The Militia was meant to safeguard Liberty and prevent Tyranny. For too long it’s has been left to stagnate. Government must once again fear the people. They must once again be put in the limiting cage of the Constitution. And those that would cross the line and enact Tyranny in whatever form, must have the full force of the law, as well as the full force of punishment, brought to bear upon on them. Treason under our laws is and should be punished by death. It is such a heinous crime against liberty and a free society that the perpetrators of such a thing must be eliminated from our society. This is also a strong deterrent against further abuse. No I’m not advocating a mob rule, or mob justice. But I am advocating Justice!

Because we have a nation of fools happy to give over “liberty for security” does not mean that we should accept this, nor does it mean that we are required to. “Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed” So know that you have more power than you think. The Federal government is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Withdraw your consent and support the Militia. If you can’t Join the Militia for whatever reason. Consider using the money you were using to fund political races and fund the patriot next door. Buy him/her a rifle, ammo, or any other items on a long list of supplies your local militiaman needs.
