Space Aliens Attack!

Since the Judge Roberts decision to uphold Obamacare as constitutional, I have given it a lot of thought and gone through the whole gambit of emotions.  Well, all but happiness.  The part that really bugs me is not so much that they law was upheld, but that it was done so by a supposedly “conservative” judge and done so using an argument that they government itself didn’t make.

There are some on our side tying to find the silver lining in all of this by stating that at least the government didn’t win their argument based on the commerce clause.  For me, I don’t care how they won, they did and it will mark the beginning of the end of the greatest health care system in the world.  That’s all that we should be focusing on.

When your company ends it’s health care insurance benefit and forces you to be insured by the government, will you care how they won? When you are told that your health insurance plan doesn’t meet the governments standards and you must pay a penalty, will you care how they won?  When you discover that your flex benefits account goes from unlimited to a cap of $2,500 will you care how they won?  And finally, when you are told that you are too old to qualify for the medical procedure you need to live, will you care how they won?  And this is all just the tip of the iceberg.

All of the above and more will happen and more now that Obamacare is here to stay.  Think the Republican’s are going to repeal it?  How has entitlement reform gone so far?  Once an entitlement is in place, it will be around longer than the great pyramids.  There may be a way around living under Obamacare, but relying on the GOP to fix it is the true definition of insanity.

So, a friend and I were talking yesterday about what happened and how it could be that Judge Roberts sided with Obama using the governments ability to levy taxes as his justification.  An argument that the government itself didn’t even make.  His explanation was that space aliens must somehow be behind all this.  I stopped, thought about that for a moment, and agreed.  After all, its the most rational explanation so far that I’ve heard.

I think you may be correct Dennis.

I have often thought that Scarey Reid, Chuckyou Schumer, and definitely Nanny Pelotski are space aliens, or at least illegal aliens, probably from some long defunct Socialist Satellite (pun intended) State (SSS Obama perhaps?).
