Radtke: 15 Trillion Reasons
November 17, 2011 // 0 CommentsI’m sure you’ve heard the news: The federal debt soared past FIFTEEN TRILLION DOLLARS yesterday, so, now, every man, woman and child in America owes approximately $50,000 to the Chinese and our other creditor nations.
In just over 2 years – since President Obama went on the biggest spending binge in history – the debt has grown by nearly $4.5 trillion. Obama’s reckless spending policies, if left unchecked, will add roughly $1.5 trillion to our debt each year for the foreseeable future.
That’s why it is critical we stop Obama by making a change in Washington in 2012.
You see, Washington can’t be fixed simply by replacing the Democrats with Republicans. Because Washington Republicans helped get us into this mess. This election, we must make sure the right kind of Republicans – conservatives who believe in constitutionally limited government and reducing federal spending RIGHT NOW – are elected.
Ten years ago, when George Allen was elected to the Senate, our federal debt was one third of what it is today. During his six years in office, with a Republican President in the White House, George Allen voted to increase the debt by THREE TRILLION DOLLARS.
That wasn’t “commonsense conservatism.” That was George Allen going along with the big spending Washington Insiders.
I want to go to Washington to stand with two-fisted conservatives like Senators Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, and Mike Lee to start shrinking government RIGHT NOW – not 5 years or 10 years from now. Because we don’t have ten years. I will go to Washington and Rock the Boat and stand up for real, immediate spending cuts. No more Obama Stimulus Plans. No more Obama spending.
Our national debt is not just an economic issue – it’s a moral issue. And that is the message I want to carry into my three debates with George Allen.
But I can’t get there without your help.
Will you make a generous contribution to my campaign right now, to help ensure my name is on the ballot and so I can debate George Allen and hold him accountable for his “anything-but-commonsense conservative” record this spring? Please click here to contribute now.
I could tell you about all the projects my campaign has to complete, or how much television and radio ads costs, or how much it will cost to run our petition drive this January in order to get on the ballot. Those are all really important reasons to give to our campaign.
But in reality, there are FIFTEEN TRILLION reasons you need to give to our effort. Establishment Republicans won’t fix our debt crisis. Courageous, conservative, grassroots TEA Party Republicans can, and will. Please help me get to Washington with your most generous contribution today.
I was overwhelmed by the generosity of so many of my supporters last Thursday when we first told you about the upcoming debates. I know times are tight, and I feel a deep sense of gratitude every time we receive a donation.
We want to raise at least $150,000 more before December 31 to ensure we can fully prepare for the ground war that will begin in the New Year. I am counting on you to stand with me by making a contribution now. Today.
Your donation of $50, $100, $500 or $1,000 will help secure our place on the ballot and in the debates.
Please click here to contribute to my campaign, to help get my name on the ballot and to ensure I will debate George Allen this spring.
Together, we will hold liberals like Barack Obama and establishment Republicans like George Allen accountable for growing the federal government and our nation’s debt.
And thank you all, in advance, for your continued help in our great cause.
All My Best,
