Bert Dodson Votes for NO GUNS

The gun-grabbers are hoping you won’t read this letter. The LAST thing they want you to know is the TRUTH about
where your candidates stand on our Second Amendment rights!

But with the November 8 General Election rapidly approaching — and your District 22 State Senate race among one of the most important in the Commonwealth — I have a critical endorsement to report.

Republican candidate Tom Garrett has answered his Candidate Survey 100% in favor of our gun rights and has earned the VCDL- PAC endorsement.

Tom Garrett answered his survey in support of removing the fingerprint requirement for obtaining a concealed-carry permit, allowing guns on college campuses, passing Constitutional Carry and repealing Virginia’s one-gun-a-month law.

Unfortunately, Democrat Bert Dodson has refused to answer his Candidate Survey.

Why won’t Bert Dodson answer his survey in 100% support of our gun rights? Is it because he plans on voting for gun control if he gets to go to Richmond?

I think I know why. Bert Dodson is an anti-gun hypocrite.

Back in 2002, the same week he got himself a court–issued concealed carry permit Dodson voted on the Lynchburg City Council to impose a condition of employment banning city employees with the same CCW permits from carrying a firearm for self-defense on city property like parks and trails even when they were off duty and on their own time.

Based on Republican Tom Garrett’s public support for the right to keep and bear arms in Virginia, the VCDL-PAC is proud to endorse him to be your Virginia Senator in District 22.

But the truth is, your race for the State Senate will likely come down to the wire. That’s why it’s vital you make sure you vote for Tom Garrett in the upcoming November 8 General Election. And if you have some extra time to volunteer on his campaign, I’m sure that would be greatly appreciated as well.
