Money Mayhem
August 6, 2011 // 1 CommentHey Democrats…Ronald Reagan just called, he wants those tax cuts you promised him 20 years ago.
The Tea Party is being told what a great victory this latest “deal” they just shoveled on us. The only thing shovel ready on this project is the grave being dug for our nation. This does NOTHING to solve the problems of spending and debt. At least when you buy a car for $20k and have payments at 19% you get the car at the end of the bad deal. Where is our car.
Essentially we are being told that we should be thankful for paying $35k for a $20k Car. Just out of high school I knew that wasn’t a good deal.
Before the vote I had spoken with my congressman Robert Hurt and told him that this “deal” was nothing of the sort. Many other Tea Party leaders had also spoken with him. He voted for it.
Congress and the Whitehouse have further sold us into slavery. Presidents Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr. and Jr. were all promised certain things in exchange for “compromise” and yet those promises were never realized. WHY? Because Liberals lie…It’s what they do!
While homeowners have the option to get insurance for mayhem we sadly have no recourse when it comes to the stupidity of Washington D.C.
We were told we’d see 900 Billion in cuts immediately. Riiiigggghhhhhttttt! We were told we will see an additional $1.5 Trillion in cuts that will come out of an unconstitutional “Super Congress”. If the Super Congress can’t turn out recommended cuts, then cuts from Medicare and Defense will be equally made. We were also told that there will be no tax increases. Because, allowing the Bush Tax Cuts to expire isn’t considered a “tax increase” to Liberals.
This latest bill was not a victory for the Tea Party or for any Conservative group. It wasn’t a victory for America. S&P just downgraded our ratings. The Stock market dropped dramatically this past week. Gold hit a new high this week of $1680.00.
Shame on any Congressman that voted for this bill!
