On Monday, July 25th, Manchester Baptist Church is hosting it’s second Civics Night.

Each of our Civics Nights focuses on some aspect of American Government. The focus on the 25th will be the Constitutional Role of a US Senator.

We will discuss the definitions and responsibilities described in the Constitution, The difference between Senators and Congressman and the 17th amendment. Our guest speaker will be Bishop EW Jackson. Bishop Jackson is currently running for the Republican Nomination to be the next US Senator from the state of Virginia. He will have comments on the topic and will answer general questions on a range of topics.

All are welcome to attend regardless of ideological or political background.
