Government Gone Wild
June 25, 2011 // 0 CommentsThe highest law of the land is daily spit upon by Obama and his crony friends. He isn’t alone. It is the Modus operandi of D.C. politicians in the House and Senate as well. “Law….what law?”…But D.C. has a problem. Eventually the average American is going to figure this out. The people might finally rise up and revolt if they would just learn that the politicians who are passing laws are not obeying them. But to do this they’d need to get off their lazy rears and educate themselves. Tall order I know.
Why do we obey the speed limits? Politicians from sea to shining sea don’t. When they get caught they flash their ID and get a pass.
Why do we file and pay taxes? Politicians all across D.C. don’t. And when they get caught they are not punished.
In fact Obama has more tax cheats in his administration than any president before him. When we are we no longer a “nation of laws”?
In New York there is congressman Charlie Rangle. He has committed 17 straight years of tax fraud. He wrote the stupid tax code for that last several years. He was the Chairman of the House ways and means committee (they write all tax codes and legislation) and yet he’s not spent one second in cuffs or in front of a judge and never will.
This from the committee website:
“Rep. Charles Rangel, NY will serve as an ex officio member sitting on all of the subcommittees without voting rights in the 112th Congress.”
So what’s that mean? It means that after committing criminal act: a felony, he wasn’t even removed from the committee? If you and I had done this we’d be facing major jail time and guys with big guns would kick down our door. But Charlie…Nope! “Ooops” Was apparently good enough for him to get off free and clear. I know what I’ll try if ever I have any IRS problems…”ooops”…think it will work?
Nation of laws? I don’t think so!
When the average citizen begins to, en mass, ignore the laws from D.C. it will be a great day for Liberty.
EVERY law restricting the govt has (and will) ALWAYS be abused and ignored. Abusing power is what government’s do. YET, We the people, are expected to comply with the laws. Funny. I thought it was “We the people” not “We the government”.
The Constitution was written to keep the govt in it’s cage. We’ve been content to let the hinges rust off the cage, then we are shocked that this beast we call the government got loose and built a cage for us.
Time for some civil disobedience? Just act like a D.C. politician…minus the whoring around and sexting.
